Well Like I said... we had to hit the road to make it to Virginia Beach in time to make the next show that evening... It was pouring down rain, and we did go airborne once, but we made it in one piece (thanks to Sara's snazzy driving) and boarded a bus at the Pavilion for the beach. We were warned that bus service to the Pavilion would stop at midnight, but that warning went unheeded. =)

Once at the beach we walked the several blocks to Cracker's stage. The place was PACKED with what was probably thousands of people... (I'm not a good judge of mass numbers but it seemed like thousands to me) Cracker took the stage with lots of energy.

This set was really great, even though it was short. They played as long as they could and though the fireworks were scheduled to start right after they finished, they seemed to be flying from the stage during parts of the set, especially when LP was on. She seems to energize the band somehow. She joked that "Perfect" would be on her album coming out around January titled "LP an LP" =) The *boys vs girls* Get Off This was really cool... David and Johnny demanded the whole pie, not just a slice, while Brandy keenly ignored them and drowned them out with some soulful "nah nahs."

After the show, said good bye to friends, grabbed some dinner, missed the bus back to the car, and called a cab to take us. We headed home to rest up for the next day...
